Fishbites Trading Post Tackle Shop to Donate 10% Of All Pink October Sales To Pink Up The Pace For Breast Cancer Awareness

Fishbites® to Match Total Donations for the Month of October in Support of Pink Up The Pace

St. Augustine, Fla. – October 1, 2023 – Fishbites® Trading Post, the tackle shop located on the manufacturing campus of Carr Specialty Baits, Inc., has been supporting local organizations since it first opened its doors in 2020.

For the entire month of October, Fishbites® Trading Post will donate 10% of proceeds from the sale of any PINK product—both online and in-store—to Pink Up The Pace. In a powerful show of support, Fishbites® (Carr Specialty Baits, Inc.) has pledged to match all donations, doubling the impact.

Making an Impact in the Community

This initiative reinforces Fishbites’ ongoing commitment to giving back and supporting the communities they serve. Both Fishbites® and Fishbites Trading Post have actively supported St. Augustine-area organizations for years and look forward to deepening their involvement in the future.

Teresa’s connection to the cause is deeply personal. In 2005, she discovered a lump in her breast, which was quickly diagnosed as cancer. Following surgery, chemotherapy, and 33 rounds of radiation, she became cancer-free. Today, she credits early detection with saving her life and is proud to support organizations like Pink Up The Pace that further this critical mission.

Supporting Breast Cancer Awareness & Early Detection

The Pink Up The Pace Run/Walk 5K, held on October 7th, continues to raise money and awareness for the importance of early detection.
