A Great Catch in Texas!

Alberto and his catch of this massive Black Drum has won the July Fishbites Photo contest for best fish! He was able to get this big guy quickly with the use of Fishbites! Alberto was kind enough to share his fishing experience with us:

“It was a 42″ Black Drum caught By Team Hard Life. We were fishing in the Intercoastal Waterway In Corpus Christi, TX. We used Fishbites Power Lime shrimp flavor on Hard Life’s Bait and Tackle double drop drum leaders using 1 live seal lice aka. mantis shrimp, and the other with the Fishbite Flavor. We were also using Avet reels Sx Raptor spooled with 60lb jb hollow with tackle industries rods 80-150lb class rod. We landed the fish in a matter of minutes! It was one of 3 that were caught in a few hours. We wished we could have stayed for more but had to get back to work!”
