Fishbites® Announces the Shoreline Showdown Surf Fishing Tournament Series with Championship Invitational

St. Augustine, Fla. – April 22, 2024 – Fishbites® is proud to introduce the first-ever Shoreline Showdown Surf Fishing Tournament Series, culminating in a Championship Invitational. This groundbreaking series will feature the largest cash payouts in surf fishing tournament history, with over $75,000 in cash prizes awarded throughout the competition.

“We wanted to create a tournament for the everyday angler. Surf fishing is one of the most accessible forms of fishing—whether you’re 8 or 80, it’s a fun, relaxing way to spend time on the beach with family,” said Brett Burford of Fishbites®.

Tournament Series Details & Kickoff Event

The series kicks off with the first tournament in St. Augustine on Saturday, April 27th. Anglers will compete by bringing in pompano and whiting for the official weigh-in from 1 PM to 4 PM at the Fishbites® Trading Post in St. Augustine.

The fun begins Friday evening, April 26th, with a pre-tournament angler’s meeting and on-site registration at Fishbites® Trading Post:
