Carr Specialty Baits, Inc. Celebrates Over 20 Years Of The Original EZ Baits
The most effective synthetic baits for inshore, offshore, and surf fishing turns 23 this year
St. Augustine, Fla. – July 11, 2022 – Fishbites announced that the company is celebrating over 20 years of their original EZ Baits for saltwater fishing at ICAST, the world’s largest sportfishing trade show held in Orlando Florida.
Fishbites EZ Baits have been effectively catching many species of fish inshore, offshore, and in the surf since 1999. In fact, the species count for this amazing bait is up to over 100 and is used in countries around the world including the Bahamas, New Zealand, Trinidad & Tobago, Mexico, Australia, and many more.
Fishbites are a synthetic alternative to natural bait and work by releasing scents into the water. This bait is like none other. Dr. William Carr, the inventor of Fishbites, spent over 30 years perfecting the formula that not only smells like the exact bait you choose but also tastes like it!
EZ Baits come in both “Fast Acting” and “Longer Lasting” formulas. Maximum scent for minimum bucks is the motto for the Fast Acting baits. The rate of release and the percentage of stimulants have both been kicked up a notch in order to make the Fast Acting baits live up to their name. If target fish are plentiful and bait stealers are few, then the Fast Acting baits are a good bet. The gel used in these baits also makes them ideal for late fall, winter, or early spring fishing or in places where water temperatures stay below 65 degrees. Our Longer Lasting formula provides extra durability for extended periods of time and makes a good choice for offshore bottom fishing, surf fishing, or when you’re in the presence of numerous pesky bait stealers. The Longer Lasting baits also have a very strong mesh that keeps the bait on the hook for an extended period of time.
“During my pompano and whiting season here on the Treasure Coast, I don’t go to the beach without Fishbites EZ Baits. The length of time that the Fishbites baits stay on the hook and their unique color and scent variations separate them from any other bait on the market. We also catch quite a few Permit in our area and the Fishbites EZ Crab Baits account for the majority of our bites,” said pro-staffer and surf fishing guide Paul Sperco.
Be sure to stop by the Fishbites booth at ICAST, meet the team, and learn more about the science behind the baits. They’ll have samples of the famous EZ Baits along with the entire line of artificial baits for saltwater and freshwater fishing.
