Fishbites Trading Post Tackle Shop to Donate 10% Of All Pink October Sales To Pink Up The Pace For Breast Cancer Awareness

Fishbites (Carr Specialty Baits, Inc.) to match the total donations for the month of October

St. Augustine, Fla. – October 1, 2023 – Fishbites Trading Post, the tackle shop located on the manufacturing campus of Carr Specialty Baits, Inc. (Fishbites) opened its doors in 2020 and has been supporting local organizations since the beginning. For the entire month of October, anything PINK that is purchased online or in the tackle shop, Fishbites Trading Post will donate 10% of the proceeds to Pink Up The Pace. After that give-back program was announced, Fishbites, manufacturers of some of the scented baits and lures that are sold in the tackle shop, doubled down and announced they would match all proceeds.

This donation reinforces the importance of giving back and making an impact in the communities they serve. Both Fishbites and Fishbites Trading Post have been active in supporting St. Augustine area organizations that make a difference in the community for years and look forward to getting more involved in the future.

“We are so excited to announce this year’s PINK Give Back recipient is Pink Up The Pace to support their exceptional work,” said Teresa Carr Dillinger, VP of Corporate & Employee Relations at Fishbites. “We know firsthand how breast cancer affects families and are proud to support Pink Up The Pace to further their mission.” In 2005, Teresa found a lump in her breast that was quickly confirmed as cancer. After surgery, chemotherapy, and 33 rounds of radiation, Teresa was cancer-free and today she credits early detection in saving her life. The Pink Up The Pace Run/Walk 5K was on October 7th and continues to raise money to increase awareness of the importance of early detection.
